The district offices close at 3:30 every third Tuesday for staff training. Plain and certified copy prices were not reliably published in the research, so request a current quote instead of assuming a fee. Court records are accessed under Michigan Court Rule 8.119, not through Michigan FOIA.
Kalamazoo County Specialty Court Records
Kalamazoo County operates Drug Treatment Court, Sobriety/OWI Court, and Mental Health Recovery Court. These are named court programs, not separate record repositories. Their public case events remain tied to the court file, while treatment details and protected personal information may not appear in an online docket.
The county’s 2025 courts report states that Mental Health Recovery Court completed its seventeenth year. The county also keeps an official annual-report library. That local milestone helps explain why a docket may show program reviews, compliance events, or a specialized case path. It does not change the need to confirm the official disposition with the clerk.
